NewThang - Gospel music is about celebration. NewThing Gospel Choir will enhance and inspire young people along the way. This music allows young people to feel uplifted and inspired. The issues of pain, rejection, and fear are dealt with in the music, while giving comfort, direction, and peace. Gospel music has joined communities together for generations, and community is at the root of our mission. Because the meaning of community extends even beyond music, we believe this music can heal a community that has struggled with the pain of murder and neglect. “A song can be a catalyst for change; a song can uplift a nation." With inspired direction, we believe we can change this community and the perception of this community.
